A sacred triangular high-altitude glacial lake nestled deep inside the Chaukhamba massif past the last Indian village of Mana.
Satopanth Tal is a holy crystalline emerald lake situated at an elevation of 15,100 ft. According to legend, Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar meditate at the three corners of this equilateral triangular lake. The trail begins at Mana, passing Vasudhara Falls, Lakshmi Van, and the boulder-strewn moraines of the Dhano Glacier under Chaukhamba.
